Seventy letters written by Becke to his wife Elizabeth, from Jamaica in 1902. He describes his travels in the West Indies, discusses news of his children's progress at school, speaks of a man named Hoggart, of Colonel Kitchener, of the American United Fruit Co., and of his work on a novel published in London by Unwin the following year under the title Helen Adair.
